Marshall has final say - Glen Marshall proved too strong in the bunch sprint to take victory in Tinwald Cycling Club’s, Hinds Seed Cleaning, 49km handicap event on Sunday.
With a number of riders in contention coming into the final kilometre, it was anyone’s race.
Marshall took the initiative, leading out strongly and holding off all challenges to the line.

  His efforts earned him the 97 year old Boomerang Cup, one of the oldest Cups in the trophy cabinet.
Don Sutton was in the thick of the finish to snare second place.
John Uden produced his best performance of the year to take the third place spoils.
Andrew Shepherd, Ronnie Campbell, and Brent Kircher rounded out the top six.
Tony Ward claimed fastest time honours, riding the distance in 79.11
Co-marker Brad Hudson took second time, with Dave Knight securing third time.
The juniors and division 2 contested a 17km handicap event.
Ethan Titheridge had it all his own way, taking line honours and fastest time, riding the course in 29.46.  
It was a Titheridge double with his father Drew, securing the division 2 honours and also recording the fastest time.
Brian Ellis, riding his home course took second place with Janette Hooper coming in third.  
Next week the Club will contest a 60km handicap event around the Blackbridge block.
