“ Multi cultural Bite!” will be bursting with flavour on Sunday 7th February 2010 11am-3pm, out side the Ashburton Art Gallery on Baring Square East. Power, tent & trestle are provided, sites are free but are limited. Aimed at Cultural groups to come and share their food and a chance for them to make some money for their community group as well. Musical acts will be performing through out the day, providing a fun filled atmosphere. This event is being put together by Lyndal Lane of the Ashburton Art Gallery, Raewyn Barclay of the Newcomers Network, Kevin Clifford of the Safer Community Council and Event Co-ordinator Karena Hart. They hope it will turn into an annual event for the community.
