23 February 2017 - ADC - Ashburton District Council has adopted three draft policies at its meeting today and will begin consulting with stakeholders from tomorrow, Friday 24 February.
Council will seek feedback from the community on the Appointment and Remuneration of Directors and Council Organisations; Local Government Official Information and Meetings Requests; and Use of Footpaths for Alfresco Dining draft policies.

Ollie lands role in professional stage production of Priscilla PDF Print E-mail

23 February 2017 - By Mick Jensen - Ashburton Intermediate School pupil Ollie Bubb has landed another part in a professional stage production and will play Benji in the colourful show Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at Christchurch's Issac Royal Theatre.
The Showbiz Christchurch spectacle runs from March 24 until April 8 and the cast also includes Mid Canterbury-raised Jane Leonard and former Big Little Theatre Company (BLTC) actor Greta Casey-Solly.
