22 November 2018 - Ashburton District Council will re-send earthquake-prone placards to around 100 building owners, who have failed to comply or reply to council.
Building owners will have two weeks to display notices, or else face a fine.
Original placard notices were sent out to 130 building owners in September, but there have been just 30 responses.

21 November - ADC - The Ashburton District Council will discuss the future of the land it owns at 330 Burnett Street in Ashburton at its next Finance and Business Support Committee meeting this month, after receiving information on the property from the Department of Conservation yesterday, Monday 20 November, 2018.

PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE ISSUED FOR MT SOMERS PDF Print E-mail

20 November 2018 - ADC - A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the Mt Somers water supply, effective immediately. Residents connected to this scheme should boil their drinking water, and water used in food preparation and for hygiene purposes for at least one minute before consuming.
