Hinds River Sunshine Bridges to be closed over Holiday Period PDF Print E-mail

22 December 2018 - ADC - The ongoing wet weather has seen the district’s sunshine bridges across the Hinds River washed out again on Thursday this week, resulting in the decision by Council to close the three crossings for the duration of the holiday period.

13 December 2018 - Mid Canterbury Tennis coach Andre Van Rooyen loves nothing more than seeing youngsters pick up a racquet for the first time and watching them quickly develop new skills.
The South African born coach teaches tennis at 18 primary schools around the district and has done so since moving here from Nelson in 2016.

COUNCIL REMOVES METHVEN-SPRINGFIELD PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE PDF Print E-mail

4 December 2018 - ADC - The Ashburton District Council has lifted the precautionary boil water notice in place for the Methven-Springfield supply. Residents connected to this scheme are no longer required to boil their drinking water, and water used in food preparation or for hygiene purposes.
